Dr. Krock is the Founder and President of OCEES International Inc., a Hawaii-based renewable energy company which provides energy and resource solutions to tropical island communities through integration of Deep Ocean Water technologies.
Dr. Krock's experience encompasses a wide range of activities including practical engineering, innovative research, graduate instruction, environmental regulation, business development, and administration.

Dr. Krock is a Professional Civil Engineer (registered in the State of Hawaii) and a tenured full Professor in the Department of Ocean and Resources Engineering at the University of Hawaii. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Ocean Engineering and as the Director of J.K.K. Look Laboratory of Oceanographic Engineering for the University of Hawaii.
Dr. Krock has conducted engineering and research projects in Arizona, California, Hawaii, American Samoa, Saipan, Guam, Majuro, Kwajalein, Palau, Pohnpei, Puerto Rico, The Bahamas, South Korea, Roi-Namur, and Germany.
For the past 20 years, Dr. Krock has devoted a majority of his research and professional efforts toward the optimization of Deep Ocean Water technologies. Among his research and professional accomplishments pertaining to such applications are:

Determination of gas exchange rates in ocean water

Establishment of water quality standards
for Hawaii and American Samoa (1979)
This work has resulted in two (2) patents and one (1) patent pending. His inventions ncrease the efficiency and lowers costs in OTEC plants.
Dr. Krock is a highly respected individual, especially in the State of Hawaii. The Department of Health recently asked him to write the State's Deep Ocean Water Specifications.
