Jeremy P. Feakins is the Executive Chairman and leads the Company and its management team. Jeremy has over 25 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and investor. An ardent supporter of environmental and sustainability issues, he has been the Founder of two technology based companies whose products quickly found utility and success. From 1990 - 2006 Jeremy was the Chairman and CEO of Medical Technology & Innovations, Inc (MTI). Under his leadership, MTI developed and manufactured a first to market microprocessor based vision screening device. In 1996 Jeremy managed the public listing of MTI and subsequently managed the sale of the rights to MTI’s vision screening product to a major international eyewear company. From 1998 – 2006 Jeremy was Managing Member of Growth Capital Resources, LLC where he managed the public listings for several successful companies including IP Voice Communications, Inc (IPVC) and Care Recruitment Solutions, Inc (CRSX). From 2005 – 2008 he served as Executive Vice Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of Caspian International Oil Corporation (CIOC) where he managed the public listing.
Harry G. Jackson is the President and CEO and an experienced Executive Leader and Engineer with extensive experience of large, multi-million dollar technical projects. A West Point (U.S. Military Academy) Graduate with an engineering degree, most recently Harry was responsible for implementing the US Department of Defense’s largest military housing privatization project with a budget of over $2.3 Billion. In this role, Harry was responsible for the executive management and operations of the project’s community development, maintenance and construction plan.
Dr. Stephen K. Oney is the Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. Dr. Oney is a co-founder of OCEES with 24 years of extensive experience in ocean engineering and other related water technologies and businesses. He is a world-renowned Ocean Engineer and well published on the subject of OTEC. His vast knowledge places him as one of the world’s foremost OTEC experts where he has been called upon to deliver lectures on the subject. Dr. Oney has hands-on experience of OTEC design and was a senior technical leader in the development of the first OTEC plant in Hawaii.
James D. Greenberg is a Non-Executive Director. Jim is an experienced civil trail lawyer and a skilled business executive. Jim has practiced law since 1986. He has tried to verdict more than 100 cases, including several groundbreaking victories in major litigation. Jim has achieved the prestigious “A-Rating” among his professional peers and judges reflecting his reputation as a stellar lawyer with the highest ethical standards. From 2000 – 2009 he was Managing Partner of the Law Firm of Katherman, Briggs and Greenberg. Jim was responsible for the business development and a doubling of the size of the practice establishing offices in York, Lancaster and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. As an experienced businessman, Jim has acquired broad based knowledge covering a wide range of commercial and business issues. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the York County, Pennsylvania and American bar associations as well as a former Member of The Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
Edward M. Baer is a Non-Executive Director. Ed has more than 30 years of senior financial management experience. From 1971 – 1993 Ed was the Chief Financial Officer of the American Cancer Society. From 1993 – present Ed is the Founder and Principal of the Investment Banking firm Marston Group, providing small and middle market companies with strategic and business planning, financing, venture capital, merger and acquisition analysis, marketing, negotiating and deal structuring.
